Abstract

The monograph presents the results of the first - among domestic and foreign - research, the purpose of which was to clarify the essence and genesis of socio-psychological thinking, the development of scientific ideas about its formation. A classification-genetic model is proposed that covers a variety of forms of this specific type of thinking, namely: pre-scientific, proto-scientific, scientific, extra-scientific, ideological and psycho-technological. Some of these forms are analyzed in detail. The conceptual foundations for the further development of social psychology as a science in the context of interaction with other forms of socio-psychological thinking are substantiated. Addressed to scholars interested in social psychology and related fields, teachers of socio-psychological disciplines in higher education and postgraduate education, an undergraduates and a post-graduate students, persons who improve their skills in the areas of psychology and social work. It may also be of interest to scholars developing the problems of the philosophy of science, epistemology and gnoseology.
