Abstract

In the manual, considerable attention is paid to the study, analytical and synthetic processing of the national experience in the generation of information resources, and the determination of the intellectual potential of the scientific and information activities of educational libraries. The work technology of modern libraries of higher education institutions regarding the creation of resources and providing access to them is highlighted, applied software products are considered, the implementation of which in educational libraries of Ukraine will ensure the automation of library processes. Practical recommendations on the application of ALIS in the creation of a factual database "Significant and Memorable Dates in the Field of Education" are given. The use of a practical manual in library work will contribute to the optimization of the organization of the activities of libraries of educational institutions in the formation of information resources. The practical manual is addressed to library specialists of the network of educational libraries, to all those who are interested in information resources.
