Abstract

In scientific achievements, communicative competence is interpreted as the ability to establish and maintain the necessary contacts with other people, a certain set of knowledge, abilities and skills that ensure effective communication. It involves the ability to change the depth and circle of communication, to understand and be understood by the person communicating, and communicative competence is formed in conditions of direct interaction, therefore it is the result of the experience of communication between people. This experience is acquired not only in the process of direct interaction, but also mediated, including from literature, theater, cinema, from which a person receives information about the nature of communicative situations, the peculiarities of interpersonal interaction and means of their solutions. Unfortunately, children with special speech needs have significant difficulties in mastering communicative competence, since speech is the barrier that needs to be overcome.
