Abstract
The facilitation model of psychological support is a model of psychological and pedagogical support for individuals with special educational needs, which differs from the generally accepted style of support in such an aspect as directiveness. Facilitation methods do not go beyond the self-organization of a managed system of persons in need of psychological assistance. For example, in traditional methods of psychological support for persons with special educational needs, the psychologist encourages the child/adolescent to carry out certain orders and instructions, while facilitation requires the individual to combine the functions of a mutually responsible participant-leader and a participant in group, collective interaction.
