Abstract

The new content of the school course of Ukrainian literature in 5-6 grades of the New Ukrainian School was revealed. The New Ukrainian School has presented innovative educational and methodological support for the school course of Ukrainian literature in the 5th grade. In particular, the content and structure of the new textbook "Ukrainian Literature. 5th grade", calendar and thematic planning of lessons of Ukrainian literature in the 5th grade. Emphasis is placed on the issue of formative assessment of educational achievements of 5th grade students. The competence potential and national-patriotic aspect of the textbook "Ukrainian literature. 5th grade", shows the peculiarities of studying Ukrainian literature in the 5th grade in the conditions of distance and mixed learning.
