Abstract

The curriculum "Social and psychological problems of stigmatization in education" was prepared for the system of postgraduate pedagogical education. Aimed at addressing current issues related to socio-psychological problems of stigmatization, socio-pedagogical and psychological support of groups, minorities who are stigmatized in different educational environments; problems of forming a tolerant educational environment and increasing tolerance for otherness and counteracting all forms of intolerance and discrimination. The materials of the curriculum are developed taking into account modern theoretical developments on the problem of stigmatization in psychological science and the practice of providing socio-psychological support to representatives of those groups, minorities who are stigmatized in different social and educational environments. The curriculum is addressed to students of advanced training courses in postgraduate pedagogical education (psychologists, social educators, teachers) and other professionals who care about preventing stigma in different educational environments, reducing its negative consequences and increasing tolerance for otherness in society.
