Abstract
The article updates the issue of organizing students' project activities during the study of Ukrainian literature during the adaptation cycle of basic secondary education. It has been proven that the implementation of projects based on the literary works of modern writers contributes to the development of students' key competencies, the ability to work in a group, and the skills of social-emotional and ethical communication.
