Abstract

The preprint "Theoretical foundations of policy and mechanisms for ensuring the effectiveness of educational activity in universities in the context of European integration" was prepared based on the results of the first stage of scientific research on the topic "Policy and mechanisms for ensuring the effectiveness of educational activity in universities of Ukraine in the context of European integration" by a team of scientists from the Institute's higher education quality assurance department of higher education of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. At this stage of the scientific work, the team of researchers was tasked with analyzing the work of domestic and foreign scientists, international documents on the effectiveness of educational activities in universities in the context of ensuring and improving the quality of higher education. The paper summarizes the results of domestic and foreign research on the implementation and evaluation of educational activities in institutions of higher education, reveals the theoretical foundations of policy and mechanisms for ensuring the effectiveness of educational activities in universities in the context of European integration. The publication will be useful for teachers, researchers, managers and students of higher education, as well as other interested persons.
