Abstract

The article examines the peculiarity of the use of scientific heritage for the purpose of forming a scientific worldview in students and gaining experience in studying nature. The relevance and importance of honoring Ukrainian science as a component of world culture and the child's understanding of the need to popularize the achievements of Ukrainian natural scientists for the further development of geography are emphasized. On the example of the scientific heritage of famous Ukrainian figures, we are proposed ways of adapting their scientific heritage for research in geography lessons.
