Abstract
The term "Alexithymia" describes a psychological condition when a person is unable to evaluate and describe their own emotions. It literally translates as "without words for feelings." In order to have a holistic view of his own life, a person with psychophysical developmental disorders must be aware of and distinguish what he feels. However, there are such persons who are not capable of this, because they do not understand in which situations this or that emotion arises in them. Features of alexithymia are manifested in those moments when they are overcome by anger, sadness or any other strong feeling that they are not able to define and express it.
