Abstract

A modern teacher of a professional education institution must be a professional in his field, who perfectly possesses pedagogical skills, is capable of systematic perception of pedagogical reality, action in it, interaction with all participants of the educational process, and free orientation in modern didactics and technologies. The theses draw attention to the scientific and methodological support for the development of the professional competence of teachers of vocational education institutions in the system of postgraduate pedagogical education.
