Abstract

The study presents the possibilities of pedagogical design with pedagogically significant use of computer-oriented methodological systems of investigative teaching (COMSRL) in the subjects of the natural-mathematical cycle in secondary education institutions, including the use of mixed reality technologies. The main aim of mathematical education is also to develop the ability to mathematically, logically and intelligently investigate the phenomena of the natural world. A number of author’s constructors using mixed reality technologies are proposed for the organization of investigative activities of students. Advantages and disadvantages of computer modeling are discussed in the context of educational and methodological activities for their support. The IVR classification and ranking list of popular applications in the experimental study is developed, and, accordingly, a comparative characterization is made by taking into account the features of IVR use by COMSRL. Particular attention is paid to the experimental study of the impact of IVR using immersive technologies on the psychophysiological state and development of intellect of students in the process of research training. In the process of research special attention was paid to the behavior of the sensory system of the child, which has the ability to adapt to the medium. The correlation between benefits in children’s behavior towards the use of IVR and the level of children’s intellectual development was investigated. The necessity of collecting information resources for increasing creativity, motivation and the level of children’s intellectual development has been established, which leads to an increase in the efficiency of research training. The results were found to be significant at р ≤ 0,05. The data obtained during the experimental study was used to analyze the most relevant in the process of investigative training of students in the natural and mathematical cycle of COMSRL.
