Abstract

In order to build a global information space and a knowledge society, the European community is developing a priority direction for science and innovation policy - open science. To unify the understanding of the basic concepts, common values, principles, and standards of open science at the international level, UNESCO has developed recommendations on open science (UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science), the main principles of which have been considered by the authors.
