Abstract

The article attempts to justify the relevance of secondary information and analysis documents that developed by scientists of the V. O. Sukhomlynskyi State Scientific and Pedagogical Library of Ukraine (hereinafter referred to as V. O. Sukhomlynskyi SSPL of Ukraine) on the basis of this analysis and summary of the professional works of Ukrainian scientists as a way of scientific and information support for teacher education institutions (hereinafter referred to as TEI) of Ukraine on the patriotic education of youth. This article notes that the full-scale war imposed by Russia, which is an extreme test for Ukraine, has sharpened the need for Ukrainian society to rethink patriotic education in different institutions of civil society, especially in TEI. The relevance of implementation of information analytic documents in educational TEI activity practice is specified. The focus is on the educational and scientific mission of V. O. Sukhomlynskyi SSPL of Ukraine as a sectoral research and information center for the nationwide network of educational libraries. The article provides examples of the most appropriate editions of secondary information and analytical documents, considering the prospects for their use in the segment of scientific and information support of the development of national and patriotic education. It is also noted that the use of the educational potential of information analytic documents in educational TEI activity significantly optimizes the work of teachers, allowing for a reduction in the time and intellectual cost of searching for and elaborating scientific, scientific and methodological information. The article states that research and information support of TEI activity with secondary information and analytical documents developed by scientists in V. O. Sukhomlynskyi SSPL of Ukraine on the basis of processing the results of scientific research of Ukrainian scientists will contribute to the conscious, personally meaningful formation and development of a patriotically-minded personality of the future teacher and his or her readiness to carry out professional educational activities.
