Abstract

The signbook highlights the linguistic features of units of different levels of Ukrainian Sign Language (USL). The first chapter presents a continuation of linguistic exploration on the study of kinetic features of 180 gestures UZHM of deaf Ukrainians according to the cinema-configuration "one", "index finger" in a three-level logical-structural models Gesture units are characterized by identification features - kinetic components (location(s), direction and nature of movement, non-manual component), groups of gestures by formation, which are systematically presented by Ukrainian sign language authors from 1943 to 2020 in Ukraine. Chapter two presents pronouns Ukrainian sign language, features of their conjugation taking into account variants of gesture demonstration, specifics of modification of gesture units by grammatical categories. UZHM pronouns are grouped by nine by categories: personal, reflexive, possessive, indicative, indicative, interrogative, relative, negative, unmarked with a complete description of their kinetic structure and the characteristics of their manual, non-manual signs, classification by morphological features into simple, complex and compound. The implementation of the sign system in practical activity will contribute to UZHM, as one of the linguistic and cultural assets of the Ukrainian people, popularization of the UZHM among broad sections of the population, as a natural independent system communication of deaf people of Ukraine. The sign is addressed to teaching staff of institutions where persons with disabilities are educated hearing, university teachers of pedagogical and philological profile, scientists in the field of linguistics of sign languages, as well as everyone who is interested in studying Ukrainian sign language. The list was prepared based on the results of fundamental scientific research of the planned topic "Theoretical and methodological principles of bilingual education of deaf and hard of hearing people" (0118U003349), in the sign language training department of Mykola Yarmachenko ISPP of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in 2018-2020.
