Abstract

The article analyzes the problem of knowledge, the growth of which has led to the progress of society. It is emphasized that in the epistemological context, knowledge is the result of practical experience and research that combines cognitive processes with socio-cultural structure. It is noted that to understand the development of modern knowledge it is important to consider the concept of cognitive complexity, which means the influence of mental structures on the formation of images of perception, interaction of cognitive agent and its environment, activity and cognition. It is determined that the approach to the study of complex systems in the context of cognitive complexity opens up creative possibilities of synergetic effects. It is shown that true knowledge is adequate to complex thinking, which helps to understand first of all the socio-economic and cultural reality. The formation and development of complex thinking returns knowledge to its semantic essence. The analysis showed that the modern vector of science development involves the dialogue of natural and socio-humanitarian subcultures within the body of scientific knowledge, as well as the dialogue of science as a special subsystem of culture and society with different value systems. Based on this, the fundamental role of the subject in the construction and structuring of knowledge and discourse, the appeal to another subject as its equal interpreter and co-author. It is shown that the dialogical principle is to establish an additional, competitive relationship between the two opposites. It is emphasized that for modern epistemology, the difference between the natural sciences and the socio-humanitarian type of research is determined not so much by the object as by the cognitive attitudes of the scientist in relation to him.
