Abstract

The definition of the basic category "ecological competence" in UNESCO documents, foreign publications, works of domestic scientists is provided; the requirements for the results of environmental education in science programs for grades 1-4 have been specified; the organizational forms of environmentally oriented students' activities are characterized.
