Abstract

The article describes the career practices of researchers in the field of higher education in the UK. The programs and platforms for regulation and management of career, the promotion of opportunities and prospects for the professional development of subjects of the educational process (in particular, academic staff) of higher education institutions are analyzed. The ways to achieve career success and areas for further research are identified.
