Abstract

The situation that Ukraine is experiencing is shaped by a series of extraordinary and extreme events that are traumatic for various segments of the population. However, children who have experienced psycho-traumatic events experience special challenges, the consequences of which will affect their mental health, behavior, and ability to build constructive social relationships for a long time. When the world seems a very dangerous place, adults must help children feel safe, must understand how to properly respond to children's emotional reactions and states, the severity of which varies depending on personal circumstances.
