Abstract

Institutionalized morality, described by R. Merton as a scientific ethos, can be based only on the moral imperative of the individual as an autonomous subject of moral demand and the subject of the reconstruction of the ideal: a feature that allows us to talk about the human dimension and democracy of science, where every human personality acts as a measure of understanding the world and an autonomous subject of evaluating one's own activity in relation to its cognition.
