Abstract

Based on a significant array of archival and published sources, the author highlights socio-economic, socio-political, and especially pedagogical reasons, procedural aspects and content components (principles, directions, consequences) of reforming school education at various stages of its development in Ukraine in the 20th century. For researchers, teachers, heads of educational institutions, teachers and students of higher pedagogical educational institutions.
