Abstract

The theses state that the peculiarity of American standards is diversity and recommendatory nature. Unlike American standards, China's educational standards are mandatory. There is no such thing as a standard of opportunity in China's educational standards. There are differences in the content of Chinese and US educational standards in terms of the general concept of education, textual requirements, and interdisciplinary connections.
