Abstract

The special course highlights the strategic guidelines for the professional development of pedagogical (scientific and pedagogical) employees of educational institutions. The normative-legal and analytical materials that determine the main directions of their activity in the European and national educational space are analyzed. Factors influencing the transformation of the traditional system of professional development of pedagogical (scientific-pedagogical) workers into a conceptual model of new education are considered. The tendencies of development of science and education in the post-industrial society and domestic and foreign concepts of professional development of pedagogical (scientific-pedagogical) workers are determined. Foreign and domestic models of professional development of pedagogical (scientific-pedagogical) workers are characterized and the ways of their implementation are forecasted. The special course is addressed to the students of advanced training courses for managerial, pedagogical and scientific-pedagogical staff of professional and higher education at the Central Institute of Postgraduate Education of the University.
