Abstract

The article analyzes the role of museums in the development of modern education, which perform social, cultural, educational and scientific functions. It is noted that museum pedagogy is aimed at developing and implementing multifaceted models of museum-pedagogical programs, projects and systems of interaction between museums and educational institutions. Emphasis is placed on the need for training and retraining of teachers, improving their cultural, psychological, methodological competencies
