Abstract

The abstracts provide a comparative analysis of the content of basic secondary education in European countries. The duration of basic secondary education and the age of students when they study in institutions of basic secondary education are highlighted. Curricula for basic secondary education in 9 countries of Europe and Ukraine are analyzed. The place of the main branches and some subjects (state language, literature, foreign language) in basic secondary education is revealed.
