Abstract

The abstract provides a summary of the content of Ukrainian scientific sources (monographs, abstracts of dissertations, manuals, collections of scientific papers, guidelines, other books and articles in periodicals) covering the history of encyclopedics, as well as support for the development of encyclopedias and individual deployments. As a result of factual analysis of works presented in the repositories of The Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine, NASU Institute of Encyclopedic Research and the State Scientific Institution "Encyclopedic Publishing House", the authors selected sources that can serve as a basis for research topic "Designing and technological support of the open Web-based platform "Ukrainian electronic encyclopedia of education"" №0121U108134, 2021–2023). The abstract review was performed to guide a wide range of stakeholders (researchers, teachers, students) in information flows on the use of encyclopedic publications. It can be used in scientific institutions and institutions of higher education in the course of scientific research; retraining and advanced training of scientific and scientific-pedagogical workers; training of master's students and degree seekers.
