Abstract
The globalization of higher education leads to the formation of a qualitatively different entity - a "cosmopolitan" university, built on the cultural values of the Western world. For Ukraine's higher education system, globalization is likely to lead to the promotion of global multicultural values; strengthening the dominance of Euro-Atlantic culture; emergence of foreign educational providers.
