Abstract

Information and communication and digital technologies provide an opportunity to intensify the educational process, improve the level and quality of perception, understanding and assimilation of knowledge. Digital technologies make the learning process mobile, differentiated and individual. The global idea of open education is not only a trend, but also a requirement of the times in the current information and communication society, which should lead to the development of a new methodological approach to the educational process based on distance learning. means of information and digital technologies in the conditions of educational institutions of different levels. The changed role of a teacher of general secondary education is emphasized, who should expand and update his own professional training, including knowledge of online learning, be ready to interact in an interactive environment, master the function of facilitator (tutor) of the educational process.
