Abstract

The authors determine the problem of updating the forms, methods, means, and approaches in the military-patriotic training of high school pupils in the educational space of the modern Ukrainian school following the need to strengthen the defense capability of our country. It was carried out the analysis of military-patriotic training components of high school pupils in the educational space of Ukrainian school. To improve the effectiveness of military-patriotic training of high school pupils, its components are considered based on methodological approaches. It was specified methodological approaches to improving the dynamic of the learning process in 10–11 grades pupils on the academic subject «Protection of Ukraine». The value system development in pupils is considered through the introduction of the value component of the curriculum of Ukraine within each section. It is proposed a comprehensive study of the curriculum content and the possibility of integration with other subjects. It is highlighted the need to accumulate all possible resources to improve the process of military-patriotic training of high school pupils considering turbulent changes in society and Ukrainian education.
