Abstract

The manual reveals the essence of critical thinking as a pedagogical phenomenon and proposes a subject model for the application of critical thinking technology in history lessons. The potential of using Bloom's cognitive taxonomy in the process of developing students' critical thinking and asking questions of different levels as an important tool for history teachers is studied. The book describes in detail the methods and strategies for developing critical thinking and the corresponding structure of the lesson. Numerous examples of lessons for different classes are given, revealing the main theoretical positions of the authors.
