Abstract

The theses describe the reform of Ukrainian secondary education, in particular in the field of methods of teaching physics, requires adequate scientific support of transformation processes, which is possible provided that updating its methodological foundations in accordance with the concepts of modern paradigm of education. The central place in its ideological triad belongs to the competence approach, which actually determines the essence of innovative methods of teaching physics as a theoretical basis for the modernization of school physics.
