Abstract

The theses describe the stage of formation of the theory and methods of teaching physics in Ukraine as a branch of pedagogical science in the XIX century. Important factors in its institutionalization were scientific and educational societies, scientific and pedagogical publications of Dnieper Ukraine and Eastern Galicia.
