Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the essence and content of the concept of value orientations of modern youth in the focus of public policy. The main visions of the basic terminology for the formation of life goals and improving the value system are highlighted. The results of a study to determine the priority of values ​​and factors influencing their formation among young people are presented. In the study, we considered values ​​as formations that determine the direction of the process of personal development and determine the choice of means to achieve life goals. According to the results of empirical research, a number of features regarding the manifestation of the structure are presented.
