Abstract

The collection includes abstracts of reports of the All-Ukrainian scientific round table online "Development of psychological science of Ukraine in the period of independence" (Kyiv, May 17, 2021). The history of the development of Ukrainian psychological science during the period of independence was discussed. The psychological features of personality formation in Ukraine for the last 30 years are determined: theoretical and methodological approaches relevant for the study of personality formation and development; outlines the prospects for the development of modern man. Reconstruction of scientific interpretations and directions of psychological work with combatants and their families over the past five years in Ukraine has been carried out. Psychological and ethical issues during the COVID-19 pandemic were discussed. The main problems and ways to overcome the destructive manifestations of social isolation in the population related to the epidemiological situation in the country are outlined. Recommendations for implementing the results of the online round table are to raise awareness of scientists, teachers, doctoral students, graduate students, students about the manifestations of psychological and mental health of the individual in times of complex, unstable life changes. Certain theoretical and practical recommendations are provided to help protect the psyche of the individual from the negative consequences of modernity. The collection is addressed to psychologists, scientists and practitioners, teachers of higher education institutions, teachers and educators, doctoral students, graduate students and students.
