Abstract

In the practical guide, the authors reveal some aspects professional diagnostic and professional consulting activities of school psychologists. The manual contains a systematic theoretical and methodological and practical material for career guidance work with student youth. The materials provided in the manual allow users to navigate wide range of issues and means of professional diagnostics and professional consultation applicants for general secondary education. The proposed manual structurally consists of sections, each of which has an independent meaning. The content of the manual presents psychological aspects of professional self-determination of the individual as a leading goal professional diagnostic and professional counseling work of a psychologist with students senior classes; the subject, purpose, tasks and technology are considered professional diagnostics and professional consultations of students of general secondary education; the ethical principles of professional diagnostic and professional consulting are highlighted activities of a school psychologist; presented techniques for professional diagnostic examination of high school students, graduates of institutions general secondary education and entrants of vocational and technical institutions higher education. The relevance of the material presented in the manual makes it useful for a wide range of users. Somewhat problematic and debatable the nature of the manual aims to activate users themselves, to inspire them for creative search and better understanding of existing experience professional diagnostic and professional consulting activities at school.
