Abstract
The Methodical manualis aimed at highlighting the results of applied research by the collective of the laboratory of psychology of socially maladapted minors of G.S. Kostyuk Institute of Psychology of NAES of Ukraine. The content of psychological factors of deviations in the development of personality in the conditions of social changes is revealed. The basic requirements for determining the tendency to deviant behavior and tools for diagnosing persons "at risk" of social maladaptation are substantiated. Measures have been developed to prevent deviations in the personal development of children and adolescents, in accordance with their life situation in a changing society. The results of the study will be useful for specialists of social services for children, families and youth, the Criminal Inspectorate for Children, social rehabilitation institutions for children, adolescents and youth, penitentiary services of Ukraine, psychologists and social educators.
