Abstract

In Ukrainian education, the concept of "competence" is understood in meaning proposed by European educational experts, therefore information and digital competence is considered as a set of knowledge, skills, values ​​and attitudes, as well as the strategies needed to use information and digital technologies and digital media in order to effectively, critical, creative, independent and ethically-oriented learning. Thus, under the information and digital competence of the teacher we will understand the ability of the teacher to use information and communication technologies for information activities (search information, its definition and organization, management and analysis, as well as its creation and dissemination) in their professional field.
