Abstract

The curriculum of the special course "How to provide social and psychological support to veterans, volunteers and IDPs in the transition from war to peace" was prepared for students of psychology, social workers, social educators, students of postgraduate education institutions, public organizations, for other professionals, who provide rehabilitation, social and psychological support and support to Ukrainian Anti-Terrorist Operation/Joint Forces Operation veterans, volunteers, IDPs and their families. The program is aimed at mastering by its students and participants the features of socio-psychological support of personality, which is based on the concept of personality’s life construction by T. M. Tytarenko, using the paradoxical intention of V. Frankl, body-oriented and breathing technologies for psychocorrection of stress and post-traumatic suffered from hostilities in the context of continued military aggression by Russia in the Crimea and eastern Ukraine. The program uses modern theoretical developments, empirical research and practical experience in providing psychological assistance and socio-psychological support to ATO/JFO, volunteers, IDPs from the Crimea, members of their families in the research topic "Socio-psychological support of military victims actions during the transition to peaceful living". The program also summarizes the foreign and domestic experience of fellow scientists and practitioners in the implementation of this support. The curriculum is addressed to students-psychologists, social workers, social pedagogues, students of advanced training courses of postgraduate education institutions and other specialists who take care of the problems of social and psychological support of Russian aggressors in the Crimea and in the east of Ukraine.
