Abstract
In the Ukrainian language, in addition to functional styles, there are other stylistic varieties, the classification of which is based on different expressive coloring, that is characteristic of a particular speech. With the help of such coloring, different attitudes of the speaker are revealed, the perception of different tones and coloration of the expressed opinion. The use of stylistic varieties in speech contributes to the formation of the speaker's ability to convey the intonation pattern and coloration of the expressed thought during communication.
