Abstract

The collection presents the materials of scientific reports of the round table "Modern psychological requirements for the textbook for the New Ukrainian School", which took place on August 26, 2021 at the Institute of Psychology named after GS Kostyuk NAPS of Ukraine. Psychodidactic issues of creating school textbooks, psychological aspects of building educational materials for different age groups and qualification levels of modern education, psychological and pedagogical problems of reading and comprehension of the text proved to be relevant. The importance of educational and methodological support of distance learning in a pandemic is emphasized, and possible ways to solve this problem are suggested. The ways of realization of achievements of psychological and pedagogical science in the newest educational materials (textbook, manual, programs, etc.) are presented. The textbook and other teaching materials are considered in the broad context of education reform in Ukraine. The collection is addressed to psychologists, scientists and practitioners, teachers of higher education, teachers and educators, all who are interested in the problems of modern textbooks. The materials are published in the author's edition.
