Abstract

The article focuces on the change in the educational paradigm and substantiates the key competencies and competences. Today in Ukrainian pedagogical science there is no sharp definition for this problem and therefore readers are offered different views. The transition of education from ZUNs (knowledge and skills) to the humanitarian paradigm provides a more qualitative educational process for both secondary and higher education. Under these conditions the activity of students' self-realization is expanded to the surrounding environment and future professional activity.
