Abstract

At the present stage in the Ukrainian state, the modernization of the education sector is carried out in the context of a deep socio-political and socio-economic crisis. Today it is important to preserve and multiply its achievements. The opening of the page of the history of the beginning of the XX century, namely the national-democratic revolution of 1917-1920, testifies to a certain similarity of factors and circumstances that influenced the development of Ukrainian education in the studied and modern periods. Reproduction of procedural and substantive aspects of school education reform under the Central Council (hereinafter - CС) will contribute to the understanding and understanding of modern processes in education and the design of its future.
