Abstract
The work shows that developed positive relationships with others in combination with high autonomy contribute to the development of relationships and prevent the emergence of negative trends associated with self-defense. Autonomous partners are likely to respond actively to the conflict using adaptive coping strategies. Such behavior supports relationships, deepens and develops them.
