Abstract
The paper notes that the basis of professional self-development is personal self-development aimed at the formation of creative individuality of the teacher. The andragogical conditions are covered: organizational-pedagogical, educational-methodical, psychological-andragogical, which provide professional and personal self-development of the teacher in postgraduate education. It is emphasized that the indicator of the effectiveness of the use of andragogical conditions is the formation of internal motivation for professional and personal self-development. It is concluded that the use of andragogical conditions in the framework of continuing education contributes to the effectiveness of adult learning by strengthening the internal motivation of the teacher to professional and personal self-development.
