Abstract

The problem of the teacher's personality is relevant from the point of view of preparation at all times. The development of many outstanding teachers and scientists of Ukraine belongs to the training of professional teachers. An outstanding domestic teacher and psychologist, the founder of scientific pedagogy and the public school, Konstantin Dmitrievich Ushinsky, solved all theoretical and practical issues of upbringing from the point of view of training future teachers. The scientist was well aware that the fate of his people would depend on the training of folk teachers, including teachers of the elementary school, in which the foundation was laid for the formation of a real teacher. The idea of ​​the nationality of upbringing is associated with the name of KD Ushinsky, and it is so relevant in our time - the time of development and reform of the national school. Highlighted are very valuable thoughts and advice about the personality of a teacher in the work of an outstanding scientist, teacher and psychologist, the founder of scientific pedagogy and the public school. It is revealed that the pedagogical ideas of the scientist are still relevant and are a source of scientific creativity and practical activity in the preparation of future teachers.
