Abstract

The monograph analyzes the theoretical and methodological foundations of individualization of learning. The problem is considered from a historical perspective, the achievements of famous teachers of the past are analyzed. Emphasis is placed on the importance of the principles of pedagogy: naturalness, cultural conformity, humanism. Modern approaches to individualization of training are considered. The achievements of psychologists on the problems of differentiation, individualization, socialization are analyzed. It is emphasized that the humanistic paradigm of teaching and educating the individual considers the individualization of learning as a mandatory component of the learning process. The main types of individual form of work are analyzed: individual, individualized and individualized-group. The problems that arise in teachers in the process of individual work with students in the classroom are highlighted.
