Abstract

This article presents an analysis of such concepts as social and socio-psychological adaptation, computer addiction, describes the signs of gaming computer addiction, and the causes of its occurrence. Based on the analysis of scientific sources, the types of socio-psychological adaptation are identified. A number of psychological problems arising from the early involvement of children in activities in virtual space are considered. An attempt is made to track the effects of unrestricted stay in virtual reality on social adaptation and interpersonal interaction of children and adolescents.
