Abstract

The activities of the department of fundamental and special disciplines of the Institute of Pre-University Training has been analyzed in the paper using the work of the National Aviation University as an example. An analysis of the organizational structure has been given and the dependence of the department operation efficiency on the proficiency of the department personnel has been established. The major transformation lines have been defined as the result of the pre-university physico-mathematical training of senior pupils at the department of fundamental and special disciplines for their studies at a technical university. The content and peculiarities of the educational support of senior pupils and those of their physico-mathematical training at the Institute of Pre-University Training of a technical university have been justified.
