Abstract

The manual is designed for teaching geometry in preparatory courses. It discusses the properties of basic geometric shapes on a plane and in space, including the measurement of areas and volumes. The definitions of the simplest figures and axioms of planimetry are given at the beginning. The theoretical material is presented simply and easily, with the necessary level of rigor. Most theorems are presented with proof, for the rest the idea of ​​proof is planned. The manual contains a sufficient number of exercises that can be used during the independent work of students and when working with the teacher.
