Abstract
Linguistic diversity is part of Europe's DNA, encompassing not only the official languages of the EU Member States, but also the regional and minority languages spoken for centuries in European countries, not to mention the languages brought by different waves of migrants. Thus, learning several languages is a necessity and an opportunity for many people.
